Nora Lucero brings over 18 years of invaluable experience to her role as the Executive Director at Morada Albuquerque. Starting from the ground up in the senior living industry, Nora’s journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication and passion for enhancing the lives of seniors and those who care for them.

Nora’s career trajectory is a remarkable tale of perseverance and growth. Beginning in entry-level positions, she worked her way through every role within senior communities, culminating in her current position as Executive Director. Her commitment to learning and self-improvement is matched only by her desire to see others succeed. Nora finds immense joy in teaching and mentoring employees, nurturing their growth within the senior living landscape.

Raised in Texas, Nora’s path led her to New Mexico when she made the selfless decision to care for her grandmother. Family has always been a cornerstone of her life, evident in her role as a devoted mother to three beautiful children – two boys and a girl.

Nora’s dedication to her community is further exemplified through her extensive involvement with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s New Mexico chapter. Her advocacy and service on the board were driven by a deeply personal connection – her oldest son’s battle with CF. Her contributions have positively impacted countless lives, inspiring hope and change within the community.

Now, as the Executive Director of Morada Albuquerque, Nora is poised to continue her transformative work. Her enthusiasm is palpable as she strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of seniors and those who tirelessly serve them. Nora’s leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her mission are guiding lights that illuminate the path toward a brighter future for all.

Memory Care Director

Kimberly is a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Director in the senior living industry, dedicated to providing specialized care and support for individuals with memory impairments. With 8 years of experience in memory care, she has become a trusted leader in creating nurturing environments for residents.

As the Memory Care Director at Morada Senior Living, Kimberly oversees all aspects of memory care programming and services. She is responsible for developing and implementing person-centered care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and training staff on best practices in dementia care.

Kimberly has a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with memory impairments. She is well-versed in evidence-based approaches to memory care, including validation therapy, reminiscence therapy, and sensory stimulation techniques.

Throughout her career, Kimberly has been recognized for skills and qualities such as patience, empathy, and the ability to create a calm and supportive environment for residents and their families.

In addition to her role as a Memory Care Director, Kimberly actively participates in ongoing professional development and stays up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in memory care. Celebrations Director

Anita Romero has 13 years of experience working with Seniors doing activities. Starting out in the Nursing Home setting and since has moved on to Assisted Living. Considered to be the “fun person of the building”, she lives up to the title by creating activities that are engaging, interactive and fun.

To be in this field you need a lot of compassion and patience and a desire to help others. In her free time Anita loves spending time with her family, playing with her two dogs and trying out new recipes. At the end of the day, she asks herself- Did you make someone smile and laugh today?

After all it’s more than Bingo!

Erica Costello

Senior Lifestyle Consultant

Erica Costello is a native New Mexican who is an avid chile addict and loves all mountains, animals, and beauty found in the Land of Enchantment. Her journey into helping seniors began in high school where she worked evenings and weekends at Mission Manor nursing home as an activity assistant. Her fondest memories of that time include playing piano/sing-a-longs for residents, giving manicures, and joining residents on outings. Erica then went on to be a private caregiver throughout college before going on to an illustrious music teaching career, but her heart led her back to serving seniors.

Erica has worked as a manager, regional director of activities, and sales manager for 15 years in the Albuquerque senior living industry. Her greatest joy lies in being able to help seniors and their families because it’s not just a job, but what she considers to be her calling. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with those she loves, trying food from around the world- active foodie, and spending time out in nature.
