Executive Director

Executive Director, Trish Faris, is a 20-year hospitality industry professional whose career includes lengthy tenures with Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Southwest Airlines and premier senior living communities in the Albuquerque area. Trish proudly attended New Mexico State University, where she completed Masters- level coursework in criminal justice before answering the call to work with and on behalf of seniors and families. Outside of work, Trish enjoys canvas painting, hosting afternoon teas, and entertaining family, friends and loved ones alongside her two dogs.

Director of Celebrations Elizabeth Chavez has been a hospitality industry professional for more than 10 years. Now specializing in senior living activities and events, she works for and alongside resident seniors to create memorable moments that brighten their days and elevate overall lifestyle quality here in our community.

A proud New Mexico native, Elizabeth studied Hospitality and Tourism at Central New Mexico before embarking upon her professional career. She loves coffee, cupcakes and cappuccino, and outside of work, enjoys podcasts, travel and buying house plants (then struggling to keep them alive!).

Brad Edwards

Director of Culinary Services

Director of Culinary Services Brad Edwards brings more than 15 years of culinary experience to his role at our community. Chef Brad received his degree from Scottsdale Culinary Institute in 2006 and was nominated for New Mexico’s Chef of the Year award in both 2010 and 2012.

Having worked in senior living settings for most of his career, he believes in building and nurturing resident relationships, and loves to demonstrate cooking techniques for the residents of Morada Albuquerque.

When he’s not cooking for resident seniors, he enjoys cooking at home for his family. He’s also fond of golf and fishing, backpacking and especially spending time with his grandchildren and lovely fiancée.

Sales Counselor

Sales Counselor Carol Thornhill has more than 21 years of professional experience in the assisted living field and brings extensive knowledge and mentorship abilities to her role at our community. A proud graduate of the University of New Mexico, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and received her Masters degree in Counseling and Family Studies.

Carol was born and raised here in Albuquerque, and has worked with many of the area’s premier senior communities. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, gardening, hiking and shooting, as well as traveling with her husband of more than 29 years.
