Meet Our Senior Living Professionals at Morada Waxahachie

Jennifer Bosarge

Executive Director

Executive Director Jennifer Bosarge has been at our Waxahachie Community for the past ten years. Jennifer has been in multiple roles in the Senior Living industry and brings more than twenty years of experience to Morada Waxahachie. When ask her favorite part as Executive Director , Jennifer states “ listening to our residents tell their story”.

Jennifer grew up in the small town of Alma, TX about 12 miles from Waxahachie and about a mile from her Grandparents . Some of her best childhood memories are those with them and their many experiences. Jennifer’s compassion and energy is felt all over the community and residents state “she could be planting flowers one day and washing dishes the next. What ever we need.” Jennifer started out as a CAN/Medaide and then worked as Wellness Director and was promoted to Executive Director so she understands the challenges of residents and staff.

Her leadership is the driving force that keeps the community the best choice for Senior Living.

Jonette McCoy

Director of Celebrations

Director of Celebrations Jonette McCoy began her 23-year professional career in the Human Resources field, where she held several positions including Human Resource Coordinator, Recruiting Specialist and Organizational Development Generalist.

Jonette has been a proud member of our Morada Senior Living family since 2015, beginning as a Resident Assistant before being promoted to Activities Director and now Director of Celebrations. In her current role, Jonette joyously interacts with our residents each day while engaging in a variety of activities, everything from games and exercise to themed parties, making devotions and taking part in the many events and happenings in and around our native Waxahachie.

Holly Veracruz

Director of Culinary Services

Director of Culinary Services, Holly Veracruz, graduated with a Culinary Degree from the Culinary Art Institute of Dallas then pursued a Nutrition degree from Texas Women’s. She is a very well-rounded chef who has worked in almost every facet of the hospitality industry Holly learned from many chefs internationally during her travels and has worked directly with Chef Steven Piles, who is a famous chef and pioneer of the DFW food scene we know and enjoy today.

Her focus is to bring scratch-cooking to our community with balanced flavors and nutrition. Holly is also very passionate about activity collaboration to engage our residents in more creative food activities such as Ice Cream Workout classes. This activity will have residents will shake their own old-fashioned ice cream then get to enjoy their fresh ice cream bar after the conclusion of the workout. We are happy to have her as our culinary director at Morada Waxahachie.

Lia Davis

Director of Health and Wellness

Lia has been in the nursing industry since 2000, starting out as a CNA in high school, completing the bridge mentor program to train others to be CNAs. She went on to become a medication aide, while finishing up nursing school. She has a passion for the greatest generation and finds caring for them extremely rewarding. To be able to be hands on and know that you’re caring for someone, having that empathy and sympathy for residents is a skill that cannot be taught. The last 17 years she has lived in Pennsylvania, before moving back to her home state of Texas. Lia is married and has 4 beautiful children. She enjoys the Philadelphia Eagles, camping, and spending time with her family.

Barbie Dotson

Business Office Manager

Barbie has only been with Morada since January of 2022; although she has been a natural caregiver her whole life. She previously worked as a receptionist at a different Senior Living community. She also owned and operated a Licensed In-home Childcare in the state of Texas for 12 years where she gained her business knowledge before becoming a Dayhab Manager for Special Need Adults for 3 years. In her current role, she provides an open-door mentality and is relentless about helping residents, families, and team members.

Her 3 adult children are her pride and joy. She was born in Michigan but has lived in several states throughout Central USA. She has lived in Texas since 2006.

Jake Cardino

Director of Facility Operations

Jake Cardino is a new to our Morada Waxahachie Team as our Director of Facility Operations. Jake brings knowledge of IT, Maintenance and Customer Service to Morada. His compassion and “ big heart” as the resident s say make him a great addition to our team.

Jake and his wife Alexis are expecting their first child in February to their home. New to the Senior Living Industry Jake says he enjoys the residents and helping them it reminds him of his Grandparents. We look forward to Jake being with us for years to come!!
