Donna Hansen

Executive Director

Donna began her career in senior living seven years ago after retiring from her civilian position in hospitality for the United States Coast Guard. She had the pleasure of living in Hawaii and California before returning to her home town of Pasadena, Texas. She considers it a privilege to serve the seniors in her own community. She enjoys spending time with her three grown children, swimming, the beach, and driving her classic Jeep.

Tamara Chesney

Director of Celebrations

Director of Celebrations Tamara Chesney enthusiastically engages her residents in social activities with her keen sense of humor and quick wit. Tammy, as friends and residents call her, shares her love and passion for the seniors on her sleeve. She was born and raised in Michigan, and says her biggest accomplishment was successfully raising four boys alongside her husband of 26 years. In her free time, she can be found on hiking trails, on the shores of Galveston Island or elsewhere exploring the great state of Texas.

Margit Semac

Business Office Manager

Business Office Manager Margit Semac has been a member of the Morada Deer Park team for more than 13 years. She began as a server in our dining room in 2008, and today manages financial affairs for residents and team members. Margit is our community’s authority on veterans and other benefits and in 2019 earned formal certification as a Business Office Director.

Margit is originally from Romania and came to the US to complete her studies in Office Technology. She also learned English, received real estate training and returned to school to study accounting.

Outside of work, she is a proud wife to her husband and a loving mother of two. Her son is a successful software developer and her daughter a 2021 graduate from Texas A&M.

Noelle Schultz

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Senior Lifestyle Counselor Noelle Schultz has gained more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales and has worked for more than six years as a Sales and Marketing Director for Independent Living and Memory Care communities. Her passion for seniors began at a young age while shadowing her mother, who works as an Administrator and Licensed Social Worker for a senior living community.

Noelle began her career in senior living as a receptionist and licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for a skilled nursing wing. She later served as an Activities Director and later found her calling working in sales and marketing. Noelle enjoys being an advocate and educating others about the importance of our seniors enjoying an active, fulfilling lifestyle in a safe and enriching environment.

Noelle grew up on a 200-acre working farm in rural Maine, and has since lived in four states including our native Texas, where she moved in 1997. She has a wonderful husband, two daughters who are 18 years apart in age, and an adorable grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, planning large events, dancing in her kitchen or volunteering for local youth organizations and charitable events.

Outside of work, Angela is a devoted wife to her husband, Dennis. The couple has 5 children, ranging in age from 10 to 24. They enjoy family time with the children, as well as their 2 granddaughters, Marley and Lilah, and their beloved dog, a pug named Stella.

Cathrine (Cathy) Anthony

Culinary Director

Culinary Director Cathy Anthony began working in the culinary and food service industries at the tender age of 11, when she proudly worked washing dishes at her grandparents’ restaurant while cultivating her love for cooking.

A proud graduate of the University of Houston, Cathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management as well as an Associate’s Degree in Dietetic Technology with a certificate in Dietary Management from San Jacinto College. Cathy has since worked in fast food, casual dining, fine dining and catering, and still loves having the ability to be creative when preparing dishes.

Outside of work, Cathy has been married for 42 years to her high school sweetheart. The couple have 3 children and 14 grandchildren.
