Executive Director

Executive Director Brad Buschow is a nationally recognized Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) with more than 25 years of wide-ranging healthcare industry experience. Now an influential figure in the senior living space, he has served as a board member for the National Assisted Living Association (NALA), where he helped to legislate for the senior care industry. He is also a committee board member for Argentum, and has served on the Senior Living Certification Committee, the group that develops testing programs for the nation’s foremost Executive Directors.

Brad graduated from Chadron State College (1993) in his native Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with an overall healthcare focus. He went on to complete Registered Nursing (RN) program studies, graduating with honors (1996) and beginning his career in clinical and long-term care.

He most recently served as Regional Director for a high-profile, national senior living provider, where he built award-winning teams and programming while overseeing a five-state territory in the Southeast. In his current role, he will provide steady leadership and empower Morada Senior Living team members to deliver excellence in care, personal service and overall lifestyle quality for residents of our community. 

Outside of working hours, Brad is an accomplished, now-former baseball player who enjoys golf, reading and the outdoors. He’s also a trained minister and proud husband to his wife, Shery. The couple have five, beautiful children and two grandchildren and happily reside in Texas.

Director of Health and Wellness Teauna Ware brings more than 11 years of senior living experience to her role at Morada Lake Arlington. Teauna earned her nursing degree at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where she graduated with honors in 2017. She has been proudly serving residents of Morada Lake Arlington since 2019.

Memory Care Director

Memory Care Director LaTonya Marcus has proudly served residents of Morada Lake Arlington for more than nine years, the last five as Memory Care Director. She earned her Nursing Degree from Concorde College in 2013, where she also won the Florence Nightingale Award, which is given to the Nursing student who best exemplifies the spirit and skill of the legendary wartime nurse whose tireless service dates back prior to 1850. In her current role, LaTonya advocates for seniors and families and provides a strong support system for our community’s care personnel, ensuring that residents and team members alike have all the tools needed to enjoy exceptional quality of life.

Celebrations Director Heidi Hulin has more than 35 years of experience teaching a variety of classes, planning special events for people of all ages and delivering award-winning customer service. Heidi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and has since worked in a range of roles including Substitute Teacher for the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD), Caregiver, Personal Trainer and Recreation Specialist, among others. She is also fully certified in Advanced First Aid, CPR and AED training.

Outside of work, Heidi enjoys travel and the outdoors, cooking and spending time with her family, including her rescue dog, VooDoo.

Senior Lifestyle Counselor Patricia Schad began her career journey in senior living in 2019, and has now been proudly serving resident seniors at well-known and respected Texas communities for more than two years. Authentic and passionate, she strives to create genuine bonds with seniors and their families while working to find the right senior living solutions that best suit their unique needs and preferences.

A proud Texan herself, Patricia has lived in Arlington since 1993, and is a devoted mom of two boys, Bryson and Leon. The family resides together here in Arlington.
