Angelica Valero

Angelica Valero

Director of Culinary Services

Chef Angelica Valero brings a lifelong love for culinary arts to her role at Morada North Richland Hills. She grew up learning classic, Mexican traditions and wide-ranging specialty dishes as taught by her Mother and Grandmother, and ultimately decided to devote her professional career to crafting unique plates that bring joy and satisfaction to all who taste them.

Although she long aspired to achieve the role of Culinary Director, Chef Angelica built her career from the ground up, starting as a prep cook and later working as a Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef in a variety of restaurant settings. Through hard work and experience, she became a Culinary Director, first in fine dining establishments as well as at the Ford Center at The Star, the official practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys. She now holds that distinction here in our community, and for her commitment to culinary excellence and innovative dishes, she’s been named Employee of the Year by the Discovery Senior Living organization.

Chef Angelica lives locally and enjoys time spent among family including her wife and two daughters.
