Executive Director

Beverly began her career as a nursing home administrator almost 40 years ago and true to her Texas roots, she has served as an Executive Director in several different central Texas communities before coming to Morada Temple nine years ago. Beverly and her husband, Mike, who is also a healthcare executive, have five children and 14 grandchildren. When Beverly is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys being outdoors, camping – looking forward to trips to Galveston for “island” time and reading.


Amanda Hernandez

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Senior Lifestyle Counselor Amanda Hernandez is a 20-year sales and marketing professional who has served our Morada Temple community since 2015. Amanda loves helping seniors and families discover the many joys of experiential living at Morada Temple, and customizing living options and solutions to fit the unique qualities each brings to our community.

Outside of work hours, she and her husband, Don, enjoy vacations, cook-outs and gathering among their large family, which now includes 11 grandchildren.

Director of Home Health

Director of Home Health Angela Carter is a 26-year industry professional who has proudly served the residents of Morada Temple in multiple roles since 2015. Motivated by a love of learning from a young age, Angela learned to fly her father’s twin-engine Cessna airplane.

Outside of work hours, she spends her free time with her two daughters and great nieces and enjoys decorating and cooking enchiladas. She’s also a collector of gold and silver coins, silver certificates and baseball cards.

Shana Bruggman, RN, BSN

Director of Clinical Services

Director of Clinical Services Shana Bruggman, RN, BSN has been a practicing nurse in the Temple area for more than 17 years, and has proudly served the residents of Morada Temple since 2018. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, she moved to Temple in 2000 to attend the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. There, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with specialties including hospice, pain management and long-term care.

Having recently become Director of Clinical Services, Shana is excited to dedicate her time and efforts to making Morada Temple an exceptional place for residents, their families and the team members caring for them.

Outside of work, Shana and her husband, Mark, himself a local business owner, are proud parents of three children, 15-year-old Hunter, 14-year-old Hailey and 11-year-old Haiden. The family spend free time attending the kids’ activities and being grateful for each day God provides.

Director of Celebrations

Director of Celebrations Tresa Marie Dale has worked in multiple areas of the broader healthcare field for the last 15 years. Prior to joining the Morada Temple team, she gained experience in retail management, interior design, marketing, advertising and real estate, but is proud and most passionate about serving area seniors.

Through creativity, enthusiasm and dedication to our residents, Tresa strives to make each day in our community an engaging, meaningful and fun experience. She holds professional certifications in both Dementia Care and Dance Therapy, and she has spoken and trained for Ombudsman and the State of Texas for activities requirements.

In her free time, Tresa can be found alongside her son, Spencer, whom she calls her “Sonshine.”

Senior Lifestyle Coordinator

Community Relations Specialist Julie Stermer has devoted more than 12 years to serving area seniors in a variety of roles, and brings to Morada Temple a wealth of experience in sales and marketing as well as resident admissions.

She takes great pride in helping residents make a smooth transition and embark upon a more rewarding lifestyle experience overall. Personalizing services to better suit the needs of individual seniors is important to Julie and one of the core values she brings to her role with our community.

Beyond working hours, Julie and her husband, Andy, are proud parents to three daughters and a son, and enjoy family time with their children and three grandchildren.

Community Outreach Coordinator

Community Outreach Coordinator Jane Condreay brings more than 38 years of nursing experience to her role at Morada Temple. Originally from Chicago, she loves life here in Texas and enjoys working with the Morada Temple team, utilizing her skills to meaningfully impact the lives of resident seniors each and every day.

Outside of work, Jane is a proud mom and grandma, and is married to her high school sweetheart. In her spare time, she loves being with her rescue dogs, boating the great lakes of Texas and basking in the beautiful weather!


Cindy Gilliard

Business Office Manager

Business Office Manager Cindy Gilliard has a wealth of experience working in the hospital and health care industry. After moving to Texas in 2018, she began working as a Business Office Manager at a skilled nursing facility.

Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She is excited to learn all that she can about senior living and all the wonderful residents.

She is a military wife and mother to three daughters and a son. In her free time, Cindy is an avid soccer fan and loves to read, travel and cook.

Brenda Modgling

Director of Culinary Services

Director of Culinary Services Brenda Modgling has served the residents of Morada Temple in multiple roles throughout her lengthy tenure. Prior to assuming her current role, she was our community’s Housekeeping Director and assisted with key business functions including payroll and team member training.

Brenda’s culinary department experience in our community now spans more than three years, during which time she’s enjoyed more regular interactions with residents and learning their unique stories and culinary preferences. She’s also currently completing her studies to become a Certified Dietary Manager.

Outside of work, Brenda and her husband reside in the area, and enjoy family time with their six children and 23 grandchildren.
