Beth Booher

Executive Director

Beth grew up in Northern Colorado and began her career in the health and wellness space. She then served 9 years in the United States Army as a medic and Medical Service Corps Officer, which brought her to Texas. Most of her career, Beth has served as a Healthcare Executive, most recently with Baylor Scott & White Health.
Beth has lived in Salado, TX for the last 18 years with her son Morgan, who is currently training to be a firefighter.
For hobbies, she enjoys gardening with Texas Native plants and has dedicated a good portion of her backyard to growing wildflowers. She also enjoys walking, cycling, bird watching, painting, and reading.

Amanda Hernandaz

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Amanda Hernandez has extensive experience in her 20-year career in sales and marketing as a professional in the industry. Amanda has has served Morada Temple community since 2015 working both as a Business Office Manager and Sales Counselor. Amanda loves helping seniors and their families in central Texas to discover the many joys of living at Morada Temple. She has assisted hundreds of seniors with finding their new home and providing a solution that fit their needs.

Outside of work hours, she and her husband, Don, enjoy vacations, cook-outs and gathering among their large family, which now includes 11 grandchildren.

Angela Carter

Angela Carter

Personal Assistance Services Administrator

Angela has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years as an industry professional and joined Morada Temple in 2015 holding several management roles before becoming the Administrator of the PAS program. As the Personal Assistance Services Administrator, Angela manages the day-to-day operations of Morada’s PAS program that provides in-home assistance and companion care that serves both the resident of Morada Temple and the residents of the city of Temple and surrounding areas.

In Angela’s free time she enjoys spending time with his two daughters and family making memories and cherishing her time with her loved ones.

Michael Elkins

Director of Celebrations

Michael started his career working with Boy Scouts of America in 1987 while living in Irving Texas. During her career with the Boy Scouts, Michael traveled extensively until he decided to move back to Texas in 2011 and changed career paths. Michael also worked for H.E.B. in management at the distribution center in Temple for almost a decade. After having several life changing moments, Michael found himself wanting to serve others where he could make a difference in people’s lives. That desire for a career change led Michael to become the Celebrations Director at Morada overseeing both Morada’s Independent and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

In Michael’s free time he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Montie, his 2 children, 6 stepchildren, 9 grandchildren, and 5 cats!

Julie Stermer

Community Relations Specialist

Julie started her career as an Apartment Property Manager and has over a decade of experience serving seniors in a various of roles and brings to Morada Temple a wealth of experience in sales and marketing as well as resident admissions. Julie She takes great pride in helping residents make a smooth transition to their new home as they embark upon a new chapter in life at Morada. As a Community Relations Specialist, Julie educates and builds partnerships with the local surrounding communities of Temple about the many living options that Morada has to offer as an expert in senior living in Temple.

Julie, in her spare time, enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy, and she is a proud parent to three daughters and a son. She enjoys family time with her children and three grandchildren. Julie also has a passion for singing as well.

Carley Wilson

Carley Wilson

Business Office Manager- IL

Carley has served individuals in various capacities before joining Morada Senior Living for over a decade. Carley started her career working with children with disabilities who were wards of the state through managing group homes and holding various management roles within the field of social services. Carley moved to Texas in 2018 where she began her senior living career in business administration. She has worked in Skilled Nursing facilities as an Assistant Business Office Manager until she joined Morada Temple serving both Morada’s Independent and Skilled Nursing Facilities as a Recruiter and Administrative Assistant before being promoted to the Business Office Manager for Morada’s Independent Living community. Carley holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from American Public University and is also a Notary for Morada too.

In her free time, she enjoys watching her three boys play their various sports. She also loves to go fishing and traveling. She has been married for a decade to her loving husband who proudly has been serving in U.S Army for 14 years.

Edrica Stoglin

Environmental Service Director

Edrica has over a decade of experience in the customer service, hospitality & senior living industry and has held several management roles throughout her career. Edrica started her career at Morada Temple in administration, then transitioned to the Dining Manager and then finally to the Director of Environmental Services & Central Supplies overseeing both Morada’s Independent & Skilled Nursing Facilities. Edrica has also been the community’s Notary, Edrica believes that Morada Temple is not just a place of employment but a community.

Edrica was born and raised in Temple, TX. Edrica is a mother of 3: my beautiful 17yr old daughter, Na’Layah and two amazing sons, Micah, age 13 and Emery Jr. age 5. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, planning events as an event planner and being involved in her family’s church. Edrica is also currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Tamara Lamb RN

Tamara Lamb RN

Director of Clinical Services – Morada Temple Health Care Center

Tamara has always wanted to be a nurse, even before she started elementary school. She has overcome many obstacles in her life and got her nursing degree in 1999. She has worked in many different areas of the nursing profession. She brings to Morada Temple her years of experience as a Director of Nursing, long-term care charge nurse, home health care management, hospice, and small rural hospital experiences. Through these different areas of nursing, she has developed her communication skills with physicians and families. She is a person that knows how things should be done and expects them to be done correctly. She is aware of the need for great partnerships with families and communities and is looking forward to meeting others and developing these partnerships.

Tamara is the mother of 2 adult boys. Each has their own family as well. She enjoys the time she can spend with them. She enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, fishing, restoring cast iron, and camping (when able). She enjoys trying various places to eat.
