Chere is a culinary professional who specializes in southern home cooked meals. Her career began in her home town of Biloxi, Mississippi where she studied with local chefs adding seafood and Cajun cuisines to her menu. Chere relocated to Texas after Hurricane Katrina and completed her culinary training in San Antonio while working as Culinary Director for a large daycare chain serving over 500 children daily. Chere began working in the senior living industry in 2007 and joined our team in September, 2014. “It reminds me of caring for my father and the simple comfort that good foods provide”, she says. Her goal every day is to comfort someone with a smile and good food. Chere has 3 grown children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Family is her life and the residents at Morada Victoria are like members of the family to her!

Director of Memory Care

Jessica has a diverse and multiskilled background along with a love for the aging community with memory care needs. She has a Bachelor of Science with a focus in contemporary diet and nutrition. Her experience includes careers in dental, nursing, human resources, staff development, management, and behavioral health. Jessica is a certified assisted living manager and is a former trainer in life skills, behavioral de-escalation, mental health, and suicide intervention. Growing up she spent a lot of time with children, adolescents, and adults with special needs. She spent many days with her grandparents working on the farm and golf course, and cared for them as they aged. Outside of work Jessica enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children, husband, and an array of fur and feathered pets. She enjoys any and every opportunity to be on the water every chance they have.

Director of Facility Operations

Jose made a career change in 2011 from the trucking industry to enjoy his second hobby of cooking joining our team as a Server and Cook. After a year Jose accepted the Maintenance Assistant position setting himself on a new career path.

Following a transfer to a sister community in Austin as a Cook Jose returned to Morada Victoria as the Director of Maintenance in 2013 when he decided to transfer back to Victoria to be near home and his family. When Jose is not working he enjoys cooking particularly Bar B Que Cook offs, along with fishing and hunting. He has an incredible amount of compassion for our seniors that we serve.

Director of Celebrations

Michelle has nine years Celebrations experience and loves working in the Senior Living Communities and loves the friendships developed along the journey. The smiles of residents that are the result of her Celebration efforts are her greatest reward. Her goal is to make a difference each day in their lives. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. Michelle is the mother of two sons loving spending times with them in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and football which is her second full time job.

Sharon began her career in acute hospital administration with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management and transitioned to retirement senior living in Victoria 20 years ago. Sharon’s love for the elderly comes naturally to her and with the grace of God a “door opened” during her career that afforded her the many blessings of getting to know so many lovely seniors, families, and associates. Sharon’s motivation is her commitment to making a difference in all aspects of the operations. When Sharon is not working she is enjoying spending time with her family out on their family ranch. She has grown up being the only girl with five brothers, and has raised two sons. Her precious joys are her two grandchildren, Augustus and Alexis.

Director of Health & Wellness

Tish Alaniz, serves the residents of Morada Victoria with a special passion for enriching the lives of seniors. She brings to her role 20 years of nursing experience, including 12 years as Assistant Director of Nursing and C.N.A. instructor, and 8 years of med surge and ICU at local hospitals. Tish has 2 high school age children and 4 adult step-children with 5 grandchildren, in her spare time she enjoys spending time with the grandchildren and taking mini getaways with her husband Ramon. Her goal every day is to put a smile on a resident’s face and her moto is always do the right thing even when no one is watching.
Tish is an LVN with a certification in Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Assisted Living Manager.
